Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans (LGBT) support

The LGBT Support Group

The LGBT Support Group is a group for young people aged 14 – 18 who are Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, other sexualities or questioning their sexuality (LGBT), who live, study or work in the borough of Harrow.

The LGBT Support Group offers a peer support for those who do not yet feel ready to join. If this sounds like you we can give you advice, guidance and 1-2-1 support.

You can talk to a member of staff here who will, once satisfied that you are an LGBT young person, introduce you to the group or to individuals.

The way the LGBT Support Group works

The LGBT Support Group offers any LGBT young person, a safe and confidential place with 1-2-1 or group support. The LGBT Support Group does not push you to come out, but will support you if and when you are ready to come out – it is always your choice. You are not alone; there are many LGBT people your age here in Harrow. The LGBT Support Group is one way in which you can choose to meet others who have had similar experiences to you.
