ContactPoint will be decommissioned under the new government. However a date has not yet been set. The ContactPoint team will provide an interim service up to the end of July 2010 to its users in Harrow. The latest guidance from the DfE is: "The new government has recognised the significant investment made in developing ContactPoint and the infrastructure that supports it. In considering a new approach, the government will seek to make the most appropriate use of that investment wherever practicable. More details are expected to be announced on the way forward in the summer. | | |
